Funny quotes from my kids:
T says "So mom...How do the babies get into the mommy's tummy? Is there a door and the belly button is the handle?" I'm sure he knew that wasn't the truth...if not I really need to talk to that boy!
A
said that she was not going to go to a restaurant when she was going to
have a baby. I asked her why. She pulls me close and whispers in my
ear "Because the baby might fall out while I was at the restaurant and I
would be embarrassed!" (8/11, 5 yrs)
H asked Bob why he was taking a class. He tells her that it's so he can maybe get a better job. She says "You mean, like in a circus?" (8/11, 3 yrs)

says " Your heart isn't really shaped like a heart. It looks more like

asked me tonight what was for dinner. I told her that it was a
"whatever you can find" night; leftovers, pb&j, etc. She screws up

was emptying the dishwasher this morning and came across a Wii game.
Hmmm. Not even having to think about who did it, I say "A, did you
put a Wii game in the dishwasher?" "Yes, mom" "Why?" I ask. Her
answer.........."Because I couldn't find the case and I wanted to keep

conversation with B: "I bet Daddy can lift a semi truck tire. He
can lift you, and you are really heavy so he must be able to." I guess I

kids were watching a show that featured a stampeding herd of animals.
One of the kids asks "What kind of animals are those?" T promptly
answers "They are canteloupes!" (8/10,6 yrs)
I
was teaching N and A about the days of creation. T was
hanging out at the table drawing. I asked the girls what God did on day
7. T pipes up and says "He got arrested!" (7/10, 6 yrs)
I
ask T how to spell we. He thinks for a minute then I see his face
brighten up and he just knows he has the right answer: W-i-i I think I
might have to re-evaluate the time we spend on video games! (6/10, 6 yrs)
My
6 year old daughter says: "If you boys keep messing with that mosquito
and it bites you, don't come crying to me!" Hmmm. I wonder where she
got that from!!! (C, 6/10, 6yrs)
During
bedtime prayers, A begins to recite the Lords prayer. She starts off
great - "Our Father who is in heaven......." then she continues "lead
us not into 'tation but deliver us from eagles." I dont' know about you
but I need to be delivered from eagles! (4/10, 4 yrs)
My
2 year old is waltzing around the house decked out in princess attire,
complete wth make up. The only problem is that her skirt is tucked up
into her diaper!! (H, 3/10, 2 yrs)
During
reading time today, S was reading about General Washington. He had a
lot of trouble with the word "General". Despite corrections, he kept
pronouncing the "er" as "it"! I sure had a hard time keeping a straight
face! (1/10, 5 yrs)
My
wonderful daughter decided to call 911 today. Most of you know which
daughter of mine would do that. :( The operator was very nice about
it. Must happen a lot. (A, 10/09, 3 yrs)
