Ladybug thought it would be easier to scrub the floor if she tied brushes to her feet and skated across the floor.
It didn't work out as she had hoped but it sure was entertaining!

533.  Took kids to the movies.  We saw Big Hero 6.  Cute movie...happy kids.

534.  Popcorn.  Way too much at the movies, but it was gooood.

536.  My back is feeling a little better after I tweaked it AGAIN. Another week and I should be good as new...well, maybe not new.

520.  My other big girl, Mrs. M, got accepted into the program to fast track her teaching degree.  She could be teaching in a classroom in January.

525  The biggest gift of all - - little boy in my homeschool group was diagnosed with leukemia a month ago.  His latest test results came back with 0% cancer in his marrow!!!  Praising God for His healing!!!

365:322-325 and One Thousand Gifts (516 - 520)

Mr. Baseball came in 4th overall (out of  297) and 1st in his age group.
He ran the 5k in 20:48 minutes.  That's fast!

I got out my macro for a few close ups.  I took a macro of the inside of a lemon but it looked really disgusting and not at all lemon-like so I thought I would spare you.

516.  I ran with Bear and she had a great attitude all throughout!  That is a great victory!

517.  Thanksgiving shopping is done.

518.  Bob shampooed the carpet while we were at the race.  He's exhausted but it looks great.

519.  Running club and baseball are over for a while.  It'll be nice to take a break and relax at home.

520.  Fun end-of-season party with the running club.  Looking forward to next season.

365:310-321 and One Thousand Gifts (507 - 515)

Pictures of my amazing kids.  Now I just need to get pictures of the bigs and the grandkids.  They look so different from last year.  It seems the days go by so slow, but the years just fly by.

512.  Mr. Baseball's team came in 3rd in their division for post season - undefeated in the regular season.

513.  Progressive dinner for the boys in the homeschool group.  They had a BLAST!

514.  P.E. It was fun while it lasted but I'm glad its over - for a while.

515.  The first real signs of fall.  The red and orange leaves are gorgeous.  I wish there were more trees like that here.

What a strange sign.  Now, if it said "I love You More Than Chocolate" it would make sense.

I have the only phone in the world that doesn't have a reverse camera.
So selfies are a guessing game.  I missed! I want a new phone!

499.  A date with Ladybug

500.  Spending time one on one with my amazingly sweet, wonderful and kind daughter.

501.  God cares about even the smallest of prayers.
We were standing in a REALLY long line at Starbucks (it was BOGO) and the place was packed.  Every seat was taken.  I prayed that 2 seats would open up after we ordered so Ladybug and I could sit and talk for a few minutes.  We ordered our coffee and as soon as we walked down to the end of the counter to wait, a man got up from the corner which opened up 2 seats.  Not just any ole' seats mind you, but 2 very comfy seats!

502.  A stay at home date with Bob.

503.  He brought me flowers.

504.  Romance is still alive!

505.  I beat him at cribbage.  I NEVER beat him at anything!

The Lion Habitat!

Who knew this was here?  Lions are my most favorite animal of all time!  

The ranch is home to over 40 lions.  Most of them are the direct descendant of the original MGM lion that was filmed roaring at the beginning of movies.  The workers at the ranch clearly love these animals and take great care of them. What an amazing field trip.

The female was rescued from the horrible zoo we used to have here.  She was about 100 pounds underweight and very nervous.  The handlers couldn't get close to her.  Now  she comes up to the fence for some lovin' and they can hand feed her.

They hand feed all the lions.  Sometimes they even go in the cage with the lions to feed them.
Some of these guys get quite protective over their food and they grumble and roar at those who are hanging around.

This is Ozzie.  He's 9 months old and the cutest thing!
