631.  I taught my dog how to shake.  I'm ridiculously excited about this because I can't even get her to walk on a leash without pulling my arm out of its socket!

365:39 and One Thousand Gifts (626 - 630)

626.  "Date" with Knight.  I love spending time alone with each of the kids.  I get to focus completely on that child and spoil them a little!

627.  Bowling.  I haven't been in about a year.  It was fun.  I stink at it, but managed to pull out a few strikes.

628.  People watching at Starbucks and enjoying the warm day.

629.  Wonderful message at church today that really made me think.

630.  Listening to my kids' pretend play.  I love the elaborate stories that they come up with.

365:37 - 38 and One Thousand Gifts (621 - 625)

621.  Some of my kids just up and decided to plant a garden.  I now have carrots, kale, cantaloupe and watermelon planted outside.

622.  Making memories with my girls.  We had a tea party with the younger girls and the neighbor girls.  Lots of fun

623.  Knight had his tryouts for little league baseball this morning.  He did well and there's a good chance he'll be drafted for the majors.

624.  Mr. Baseball had an amazing night with friends, jumping into foam pits.  So blessed that he has such good friends.

625.  Beautiful, almost summer weather here.  Everyone is playing or working outside.

365:32- 36 and One Thousand Gifts (616 - 620)

616.  Playing Go Fish with the kids.

617.  Boo found my diamond that fell out of my wedding ring!!

618.  All the laundry got done and its put away.  Makes me feel like Super Woman when that happens.

619.  Our 17th annual watching of Groundhog Day yesterday.  We have  a "must watch" movie for most holidays.

620.  My kitty sleeping on my lap. (She actually fell off my lap a little bit ago and that was good for a laugh!)

365:27- 31 and One Thousand Gifts (611 - 615)

611.  Mr. Baseball and Ladybug are really enjoying their youth group at church.  The kids in it are wonderful.

612.  Kids in the neighborhood, finally!

613.  Rain.

614.  The weirdo that was hanging around got out of jail.  He came back. We called the police again. They found stolen goods and drugs in his car.  He tried to escape.  I don't think he'll be back for a while!  Yay!

615.  Quiet afternoon.

It's been a crazy, worrisome week.

608.  Mom is feeling better.  We were pretty scared.

609.  Dad is healing well.  Should be home soon.

610.  So thankful for my sisters and brothers in law who were able to go help them.  

365:12-21 and One Thousand Gifts (604 -607)

I can't believe how beautiful she is.

She loves having her picture taken, and I'm only too happy to oblige.

She has this strange habit of collecting discarded utensils.  She brings them home, we sterilize them,
 and then she refuses to let anyone else use her spoons.

We made an oxygen atom out of candy.

I was having a proud homeschooling moment, until.......

I passed out a diagram of an atom and not one of them could
label it without help.  sigh.
These kids really know how to keep a mama humble!

This banner hangs on the fence outside the elementary school across the street. It actually says,
"Be kind, like Josh".  I don't know who Josh is.  It's a nice reminder though.

Still counting my gifts.  God has blessed me!


604.  Dad's surgery went well!  So very, very thankful for that.

605.  My E-Baby is back with me 2 days a week.  Boy, I miss her when school is out.

606.  The wierdo that has been hanging around the neighborhood for the last month has been arrested.

607.  That wierdo has served to bring all us neighbors together.  It's nice to know the people who live around you.

608.  Cuddling with the kids.  I love it when they sit down next to me and snuggle up.
