The kids found an art dvd in a pile of homeschool stuff that I was going to sell.

Art class is now in session.

725.  Baseball is done - - for a month.

726.  Mr. Baseball just played his last ever Little League game.  He is too old now.  Bittersweet.

Hubby's birthday

Every year I read about taking good fireworks pictures.  And every year I get "ho-hum" pictures.  I am on what could be a lifelong mission to take a good firework picture.  Not the ones in the air, but the ones on the ground.  

Tigger made his birthday cake from scratch.  It was a pumpkin cake
with cream cheese frosting.  It was sooooo good!

He was actually excited about getting clothes.  

719.  Rain!  Well, for 5 minutes.

720.  My baby boy turned 11

721.  My Father in law's surgery went very well.  He'll be back to his wonderful, ornery self soon.

722.  The new meds seem to be working for Mom in law.

Mama spider tending her eggs.  No, I didn't kill it.  I only kill Black widows and Brown recluses.
All other spiders are good spiders.

I ran across a blog that talked about photographing kid's messes.  She calls the series "Kids are here".
Since it's too stinkin' hot to go outside, I thought I would do the same.

The toothpaste mess.  They don't put their toothpaste or brushes away. Ever.  At least I didn't photograph the spit marks in the sink because they never rinse the sink. Ever.

Mr. Baseball got a new glove.  He's been walking around the house all day pounding it with a mallet. He left to go watch a game.  The glove an mallet are no where near where they should be.

705.  Kids got to perform their dances.  They did really well!

706.  Seeing old friends at CCLM.  I miss them.

707.  Knight's All Star team fought hard but were eliminated last night.

708.  Knight made several really great catches in the field.

709.  After weeks of passing each other in the hallway on our way to chauffeur kids to events, finally getting a few minutes to sit and talk with hubby.

710.  Storm clouds and wind.  It brought the temperature down a few degrees

Wolfie discovered he could go down the driveway really fast on his bike.  I think I detect a little daredevil in him!

682.  Ladybug gave us a serious health scare but, praise God, she's fine!

683.  Met a new friend because of Ladybug's health scare.

684.  My friend Rose, is dancing with Jesus now.  Not thankful she's gone, but I'm thankful that she doesn't hurt anymore.

686.  Thankful for accountability that kicks my lazy bum out the door when I really don't want to exercise.

688.  Strep only hit one of us.  The rest of us escaped with with just a sore throat.
